Week 6- Weekly Update

Performance Schedule

The Performance schedule is now finalized. There were no changes to the tentative schedule. You can find the schedule on the right hand side tab (on the computer) or in the drop down (on the mobile version). 

Tickets

Tickets are available online. Tickets for The Outsiders will be $10 each and $12 at the door. There is reserved front row for $20 each. You can purchase your tickets online or contact Andreea Hamilton andreea.hamilton@gmail.com. Every family is required to sell/buy 12 tickets and will receive 4 comps once your ticket requirement has been met. 

Playbill

Please send your headshot and bio to Julie Temple thechicksinger@gmail.com by Friday, 10/23. Remember bios are limited to 90 words. There has been a change in applause ads but we don't have all the details yet so we will updated you when we know.

Off Book

Our first off-book rehearsal is tomorrow 10/17. Off-book means that the actors must know their lines and blocking. Please come to rehearsal prepared. Keep working on bows as well. The bow song is Could Have Been Be Me by the Struts.

Set Needs
We are looking for a round 50's/60's diner table and chairs and two rolling ambulance stretcher/hospital beds. Please let Steve McMurray, Becca, Lisa or Danielle know if you have any contacts to director us to. 

Haircuts

Boys playing greaser: NO haircuts allowed! 

T-Shirts

If you didn't get your t-shirt ordered please contact Lisa Ochoa. Shirts will be gray and black baseball style shirts. Don't miss your chance to order. 

Background Check

Rehearsal Reminders
Don't forget to sign up for the text group. That is where all rehearsal reminders will be sent. Text @pytoutside to 81010 to receive the text messages.

Rehearsal 

Actors need to bring a pencil to every rehearsal to write down their blocking notes. Most of the time we won’t go back over the pages we cover each week for several weeks. When we go over the pages again they should already know their blocking. It is very important that your actors attend rehearsals, and if they have a conflict please let Lisa know.  Your actor is really going to have to rely on their doubles to catch up when a rehearsal is missed. Also, remember to bring water/snack and to wear comfortable shoes (no open toed shoes, flip flops or crocs).
